Hello, Theresa, nice to hear from you again...Yes, we will be doing the Hero Project this year again..with changes, as usual. The project will be starting in August, and it includes the use of different tools such as Google Docs, publishing in My Hero Project, and finally Voicethread. It would be great to work together again. I keep you posted when we decide on which will be the changes. See you, Marta
Hi, Theresa Congrats on finishing! I think I'm done, too. It doesn't look like we really had any discussions happening around the weekly topics, other than the Elluminate sessions, but I'll definitely be reading everyone else's journals, especially yours :)
Hello, sounds great! our big time difference is just impossible...Can you try pictures that begins with letter Kk like kangaroo, keg, kite, kick, and koala. Show some numbers too..We'll be waiting for your slideshows..
Hi Theresa, I am so glad to hear from you. The thing is, I am working in China with 3 and 4 years old who are non-English speakers. Let's see how are time schedule could meet up..Hope to hear from you!
I'm excited to be collaborating with you, too! We participated in the NetGenEd project last year and we're doing FCP 10-3 right now. I'll be interested to learn more about the Digiteen project from you and your students. See you soon . . .
I'm teaching at a private MS in Ohio but am originally from Illinois (south of Springfield). My students are new to Google docs, calendar, school email. Last year we worked in Glogster and a bit in Voice Thread. Currently we're working with Mindstorm robots and are in the Digiteen Project.
I am in Joliet, at the University of St. Francis in the College of Education. I wanted to share an international project with you called The Monster Project. Since I am new to Joliet, I am inviting local schools here via my teacher education liaison. Monsters is intended for grades prek-6 and provides an easy access for teachers wanting to get involved with their first Internet project, as well as meeting many new edu friends round the world. Have a look at http://www.smithclass.org/proj/Monsters if this sounds good to you.
